A close up encounter with the aircraft not normally available to the general public, this visit is open to members and their guests. Visit the cockpit and take a look through the open engine bay for a worms’ eye view of one of the mighty Bristol Olympus engines and we should also see the cavernous bomb bay. Includes a talk about all aspects of the aircraft and its’ history at Wellesbourne. Subject to favourable weather conditions there will be an opportunity for a group photograph with appropriate cars alongside the aircraft. This late morning visit is a must for Vulcan fans but numbers are strictly limited.
All of this in return for a donation of £15 per person, to be divided equally between the 655 Maintenance and Preservation Society and Friends of Prescott fund. Apply to Frank Ashley on FrankAshleymgm@aol.com or Telephone 01789 720 375.
